Karen Quiles, LCSW-C

Are you struggling to cope with the pain or symptoms associated with trauma? Maybe you have been abused, suffered a significant loss, or witnessed violence at home or in your community. l listen to help you feel heard. You are resilient and living with the pain. I can help you learn to cope with what life has handed you. I will help you approach challenges with an open mind and use your natural strengths to overcome difficult experiences. I offer specialized care in the area of trauma and use EMDR to relieve symptoms associated with PTSD.

I also help people with painful family dynamics and relationships, mood and anxiety symptoms.

My style of therapy is direct, caring, and culturally sensitive. I will challenge you to be more present in the moment using mindful "check ins" during sessions. I believe we are wired for connection and we need others for support when dealing with difficult situations. Together we will tap into your resilience to aid in healing.

Melanie Davis, LMSW

My approach is to begin with where the client is in the present moment. I am a very compassionate and caring person and very aware of how I treat those who I am helping. My training as well as personal life experience have led to me always being open-minded to what the client says and how they express themselves. My training in undergraduate was in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. For my graduate degree I focused on Children and families. However, I have since then branched out to all ages and the treatment of all types of diagnoses and problems that are identified. In addition to this I have also worked with suicidal clients for the course of 3 years.

While Christian values are an aspect of my own life, I will not impose my beliefs on my clients as I respect different opinions and beliefs. I am non-judgmental, empathetic, authentic, and I value having a high level or rapport with every individual that I meet and help. My experience includes working with depression, anxiety, suicidal clients, clients who exhibit self-harm tendencies, dual diagnoses, trauma work, as well as working with all age groups. I do not know how to adequately express my love for helping people overcome obstacles.
