Lynne Penn-Leon, LCSW-C (Executive Director)

Lynne Penn-Leon, LCSW-C has been a therapist for 28 years. She brings a level of education, empathy, non-judgement, clinical training and personal experience to her work. Lynne joins with each client to increase their healing. She has the experience working with people just like you to help settle your mind and body to get your life back! Lynne works with individual adults and is an Eclectic therapist. She comes from a strength-based, solution-orientated approach. Lynne's work is rooted in the belief that every person has strengths yet to be discovered. She is trained as a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Eye Movement Integration (EMI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, and Trauma (C-PTSD/PTSD) Practitioner. She specializes in the recovery of all levels of trauma. Using these protocols has lent to transformative work!

Lynne approaches therapy as a collaborative process, wherein the client and therapist come together to find solutions. In addition to her clinical training, Lynne uses her intuition to guide her in identifying which therapeutic approach might resonate best with each client. This is based on the energy, emotions and experiences clients bring into the sessions. This has only deepened her specialization in trauma and the co-morbid conditions that are present with the condition(s). Lynne not only provides clients with transformative skills, treatments and insights... but, also, education that can break barriers that have blocked them from healing in the past. This helps clients "Pivot" into their future. From day one, her clients quickly start to get symptoms under control. Every plan is individualized based on the severity of each client's condition. Their treatment is paced at that level for success.

Along with specializing in PTSD, CPTSD, Lynne has extensive experience treating anxiety and depression. Another skill she offers is being able to assess a misdiagnosed client who has a dissociative disorder that can mimic other diagnoses. Coming from her years of practice, experience and her own personal trauma recovery... Lynne has the deep understanding of how to lead and hold Pivot's Potential to a high standard. This is done so each client can receive the same gift of healing that she has received herself.

As a trauma therapist, Lynne can dive deep quickly where other therapists may not be able to. She can identify the clinical criteria that fits. Lynne can also, at a cellular level, identify what is happening for her clients. This allows her to be able to analyze accurately, so the clients know they are not alone. This leads to Lynne helping walk them through their experience to a place of peace, freedom, and a new life.

Lynne has also been an educator for 28 years about a range of mental health issues. She has lectured to small and large groups on ways to change social systems from families to large workplaces. She loves to educate, whether that is in person or virtually. Lynne is also an Executive Business Coach helping entrepreneurs that want to start their own solo private practice or grow a solo practice into a group practice. Lynne has a proven program to help the beginner to experienced part-time owners to take the step of faith to become full-time business owners. On a final note, Lynne is currently writing her book "Static, My Soul Contract" that is slated for publication in 2026. Her desire is to use this piece to help other trauma survivors. So that they know that they can also move through their trauma into a place of peace, happiness and recovery with minimal symptoms. Lynne also hopes her writing will help her readers realize that when they are on the other side of their trauma, they will be able to see the level of strength they have in their spirit. And, to see how they got themselves through something that would break others. The book is written as a tribute to her clients, her family and her clinical team.
