Carmen Larson, LMSW Director
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or experiencing issues in your life after a traumatic event? Life has various challenges and sometimes seemingly uphill battles. Sometimes you may feel like you are stuck in the position you are in, or you may struggle with negative thinking, not quite sure how to move forward. Does life sometimes feel so hard and like it should be easier to maintain? Now more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and unheard. It is not uncommon to have difficulty managing relationships, careers, and your life all at the same time. It can be difficult to prioritize your needs and mental health which can eventually lead to problems with your mental and physical wellbeing. I strive to create a safe space for you to freely discuss and address life's concerns. We will accomplish goals by using a variety of therapeutic techniques that are tailored to you. During sessions, I use a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, IFS Parts Work, EMI trauma treatment and come from a strength-based approach. I believe every individual is capable of change and healing. Everyone possesses the strengths and abilities to help themselves to experience positive change in their life. We will work collaboratively to create a plan developed to meet your goals and make changes in your life. My goal is for you to feel accepted, seen, and comfortable, so you can see results. Helping others reach their goals is my passion. During our time together, we can work on learning ways to engage in self-care, improving relationships, and changing negative mental or behavioral patterns that are creating barriers to moving forward.
